  • Winter Jam In Louisiana

Bossier, Shreveport, LA. I can't thank you enough for being so sweet and welcoming to us yesterday on the Winter Jam Tour. It's officially one of my favorite stops! ... What was amazing about yesterday was the people. First, the outside pre-show that my label mates for KING & COUNTRY, Group 1 Crew and myself get to do every night before the doors even open, for all of the amazing folks that have been standing in line. Then, we open the night inside and get to see thousands of beautiful faces, as we do the Pre-Jam Show. To top if off, last night, because it was sold out, we got to do another show outside for the people that got turned away. It was the best part of the night by far. You guys chose to stand in the cold, sing at the too of your lungs and just worship with us, it was so special. This girl came up to me and said this, I loved it! (I had her write it in my phone so I didn't forget, ha) "Hearing Dara and all of the other bands outside doing acoustic sets, was so much better in my opinion than the actual concert because it's so much more personal. I'm here talking to the artists that sing on the radio in my car. Who else can say that? Sure it's cold. But it was definitely worth it after this experience!" The best reminder, if it's not about the people, then it doesn't mean a thing. You guys made my night, thank you! -D-
