How would I know what a man is supposed to look like, or how I'm suppose to be loved and adored? How would I know my value and my worth, how would I be able to trust?

How would I have no fear and be able to love wholly, how would I know what faithfulness looks like? How would I understand protection and be able to believe I actually have a safe place? How would I trust a man to lead me and guide a home?
How would I know?

I know because you've never left, you've never looked at me differently even when I came to you repeatedly with the same shameful story. You never identified me with the problem, only the promise. You always remind me who I really am, beautiful, worth pursuit, a treasure. You've lavished love on your family unconditionally and you've provided a refuge for your girls to flourish to the fullest. You are a man after Gods own heart. You are selfless, while being strong. You are a servant leader and by example people begin to access the grace of God on your life and rise to the occasion, just by being around you. Your latter days will far out way your former and what you've done thus far in your life has been eternal, laying brick upon solid brick adding to the very Kingdom of God. Now, you will reap, even when you did not sow and you will be rewarded openly for the years of private service and hours of behind the scenes, spiritual trenches work. No man can stop what the Lord has started and "He who started that good work, is faithful to complete it."

I honor you this day Father, thank you for loving me the way my Father God loves me and for saying from the start, that even though you will fail me, my heavenly Father never will. This is how I know love, this is what has wrecked me from ever seeking it from the world. Because of the way you let God love through you, I know what and who it really is and nothing will ever compare.

Forever spoiled.
